I last spoke with Camila on Jan 15 of this year and tried calling her tonight 4/11/21, to no avail. I googled her and my heart is in shock to know that she passed away just two weeks after we spoke.  My sincerest condolences to her family and good friends.  Camila and I met at the bus station in Mexico en route to Teotihuacan in 1982 and have remained in contact since that time, sharing many important moments in our lives. Our mothers were born within a day of each other, same year and they passed away the same year just weeks apart as well. Ojalá mi queridísima amiga se fuera de este mundo tranquilamente y que ahora descanse con los seres suyos en el cielo. ¡QEGE! 

I will miss my dear friend Camille. She brought so much joy and fun to my life and I hope I provided her with the same. She was a true friend - full of life, humor and love.
