Agostino is survived by his loving wife, Assunta; his children, Giuseppina (Jesper) and Dino (Dorothy); his grandchildren, Anthony and Amanda (Simon); his brother, Mario (Nina); and his many nieces and nephews, both in Canada and Italy.
He is predeceased by his parents, Gaetano and Giuseppina; and his two brothers and sister, Paolo, Liborio and Concettina.
Agostino was born in Enna, Sicily where he met his wife, Assunta in 1965. They were married on August 11, 1965 and shortly after, immigrated to Canada to start a family and make a better life for themselves. They were married for 56 and a half wonderful years until his passing. His children remember him as the steadfast patriarch of the family; hard worker, honourable, kind, fair, and virtuous.
A funeral service is scheduled for Friday February 11th, 2022 at 1:30pm in the chapel at Ocean View Funeral Home 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby. Entombment will proceed directly after the funeral service.
