November 24, 1954 – May 13, 2026
Angela Domenica D’Arpino passed away peacefully on May 13, 2026, at the age of 71, leaving behind a warmth in every life she touched that words can hardly capture.
Born on November 24, 1954, in Caracas, Angela was the firstborn child of Ilda and Aldo Sr., Italian immigrants who moved to Venezuela in search of a better life and greater opportunity. From the very beginning, Angela naturally stepped into the role of the one who held everything together, steady, loving, and always present. That quality never left her. She was, in every sense, the heart of her family.
Angela came alive on the dance floor. She loved to dance and enjoyed music. A true free spirit, Angela never demanded attention; she simply lit up every room by being herself. People were drawn to her warmth, her laughter, and her rare ability to make anyone feel truly seen. Every gathering she attended somehow felt more like home because she was there. Family dinners were one of the purest reflections of who Angela was. At every gathering she was invited to, you could almost always find her in the kitchen, making sure everything was perfect, no matter the effort, the time, or the cost. Taking care of people came naturally to her.
In 1982, Angela met the love of her life, Vincenzo. They married on May 5, 1984, and built a beautiful life together. Vincenzo was a strong and steadfast man, and in Angela he found his balance. She was his softness, the warmth he came home to, and the tenderness that made their life together feel complete.
Angela had an enormous heart for children. She was the kind of person anyone would be proud to call a second mother, and many did. She embraced the role of godmother wholeheartedly, becoming a constant and cherished presence in the lives of so many.
She was also a devoted dog mom to Max (2009-2026), a rescue she welcomed with the same open-heartedness she gave to everyone in her life. Max was her companion, her comfort, and one of her greatest joys. Like everyone fortunate enough to know Angela, Max was deeply loved and cared for.
Angela is survived by her beloved husband, Vincenzo; her siblings, Gemma and Domenico; her nephews and niece, Anthony (Jordana), Christian, and Sienna; and the many friends and chosen family whose lives were made richer by knowing her. She was predeceased by her brother, Aldo Jr.; her parents, Ilda and Aldo Sr.; and her in-laws, Pasqualina and Anacleto.
A Funeral Mass will be held on May 29, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Helen’s Parish. Entombment will follow at Ocean View Burial Park.
