It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Angela Rosa Papalia on February 20, 2018 at the age of 90 years. She was predeceased by her husband Carmelo Papalia; sons Domenic and Nino; parents Antonio and Carmela Delgiglio; siblings Giuseppe (Pina) Delgiglio, Giovanna (Giuseppe) Zavagli; brother-in-law Vincenzo Zappone; and stepbrother-in-law Giuseppe Papalia. She is survived by sons Mario, Franco, Sergio; 4 sisters, 1 brother; 2 stepbrothers-in-law and their wives; a stepsister-in-law in Ohio and 8 grandchildren. A Viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, February 26 at Bell Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby, BC. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 27 at Our Lady of Sorrows church, 525 Slocan Street, Vancouver, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations to the BC Children's Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
