It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Tony. Born in the small village of Porat, Croatia on Dec 18, 1929, Tony died surrounded by his loving family in Burnaby Hospital on August 22, 2010. Tony was predeceased by his parents Maria and Federico, brother Miro, and sisters Maria and Lida. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Joan, two sons Rick (Robyn) and Randy (Esther), grandsons Aiden and Macklin, granddaughters Charlize and Sirena, brothers Rudy and Andre, and sisters Tonica, Liza, Ana, and Ermina. He also leaves behind many relatives and friends. Tony had a special connection with the ocean all his life as well as a love for animals. He will be deeply missed. A funeral service will be held for Tony at Ocean View Funeral Home, 4000 Imperial St. Burnaby, on Saturday August 28th, 2010 at 10am. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the BC Cancer Agency.
