Antonio Muro

9 December, 19534 January, 2020

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our brother, Antonio (Tony) Muro. Tony was predeceased by our parents Angelo and Marianna. He is survived by sister Teresa (Ralph), brothers Carlo (Maria) and Gerry, as well as, niece Alessandra and nephews Francesco and Angelo, along with many cousins and family friends. Tony was a very talented high school basketball player at Vancouver Technical Secondary and continued his love for the game by serving as a referee for the Greater Vancouver Basketball Officials Association for some 40 years. In his spare time, Tony enjoyed cycling and golfing, as well as, being an avid fan of the Lions, Canucks and Whitecaps. Tony made a sincere commitment to helping the less fortunate in our community. His natural ability to engage in conversation on nearly any topic made any gathering fun and stimulating. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
