Antonio Santoianni

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Father and Nonno. Antonio Santoianni was born on December 11, 1936 in Bonefro, Campobasso, Italy. After a long illness, Antonio passed away peacefully on June 27, 2024 at the age of 87.

Antonio will be missed by his loving wife, Rufina, of 61 years, his children, Maria Assunta (Zsigmond), Anna (Joey), and Lino (Nicoletta), and his grandchildren, Michael, Antonio and Isabella, his sister-in-law Nicolina, brother-in-law Antonio (Rosella), many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Antonio was predeceased by his parents, Celestino and Santa, sister Maria Luisa, brothers Michele, Pardo Antonio, Francesco, father-in-law Michele and mother-in-law Maria Luigia, brother-in-law Rafaele and sisters-in-laws Elena and Carmela.

Antonio will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his kindness and a family man who lived a simple life and always placed his family and others before himself.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the many individuals who provided care and support to Antonio, Rufina and the family during the most challenging times and to everyone who helped and supported Antonio throughout his lifetime.

A viewing will be taking place at Ocean View Funeral Home, Visitation Room on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 from 4pm-6pm.

A funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10am on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, Vancouver.
