Assunta Di Palma

November 30, 1956 – October 13, 2024

With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of our loving wife, mother, nonna, and sister, Assunta Di Palma; born on November 30, 1956, in Altilia, Italy. Assunta passed away on October 13, 2024, at the age of 67, surrounded by her loving family. Assunta will be forever loved by her husband of 48 years, Carmine and deeply missed by her children Angela (Maurizio), Sylvia (James), and Nicola (Emily). She was a proud and loving nonna to her grandsons: Tristan, Maxim, Alexander, Michael, Leo, and Jaxon, who will forever carry her love in their hearts. Assunta also leaves behind her brothers Maurizio (Elisa), Sergio (Alana) and a sister, along with many cherished relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her beloved parents, Maria and Umberto Bevilacqua. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 555 Slocan Street, Vancouver, on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 11:00am. A private entombment will follow at Ocean View Burial Park, Grand Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Assunta’s memory to the BC Cancer Foundation.
