BARON, Augusto Sr. Born in the Philippines August 7th, 1936, passed away peacefully with his loving wife Lourdes by his side in Vancouver on August 14th, 2010. Battling a lengthy illness, he fought hard until the end. Survived by his children; Alvin, Augusto Jr. (Desiree), Connie (David), Allan (Donna), and his beloved grandchildren; Zachary, Ryan, Dylan, Miranda, Kiana and Annelise, his siblings and all their family, Obrero family and all our numerous extended family. Friends and family are invited to a memorial/prayer service on Thursday, August 26th, 2010 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Ocean View Funeral Home, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby. Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, August 27th, 2010 at St. Patrick Parish, 2881 Main Street, Vancouver at 11:00 AM, then for interment at Ocean View Burial Park at 12:30 PM.
