Aurora Cervania Borge

In loving memory of Aurora "Pacing" Borge, a beloved mother, grandmother and a cherished member of her family has passed away after living and fulfilling 101 years of life. She was born on Jan.14, 1925 in Bani, Pangasinan Philippines. Aurora was married to Emilio Borge of Nanguneg East, Narvacan Ilocos Sur.and together they built a family blessed with 8 children. My mom and Dad, were devoted parents and hardworking providers who did everything they could for their children to live a good and meaningful life.

Mamang was a strong , hardworking woman, she was a farmer who owned and cultivated her own land, planting a variety of crops that helped sustain our family. She worked tirelessly in the fields, growing garlic, onions, tobacco and others vegetables. Farming was not simply a livelihood for her, it was a reflection of her perseverance, strength and dedication to our family. She continued working and managing the farm, and later operated a small" sari-sari "store in front of our home.

In the late 1990's, mamang came to Canada , beginning another meaningful chapter of her life. She remained active,independent and full of life. She managed to take good care of toddlers, showing the same patience, kindness and loving nature that she had always given to us as her children. Mamang enjoyed simple pleasure of life, she loved going out, dancing, walking around the neighborhood, watching television,before. She also enjoyed participating in seniors daily activities and community programs where she socialized, stayed active and enjoyed the company of others.

Those who cared for my mother Aurora "pacing" Borge will remember her not only as a loving mother but also a person who knew how to appreciate kindness. her home support workers came to care for her as part of their regular routines, but many of them came to love her because of her warmth and grateful nature. my mom had a beautiful habit saying " Thank You" whenever someone came to help her. her simple words of gratitude reflected the goodness in her heart and left a lasting impression on those who had the privilege of caring for her. My mamang's life is a beautiful testament to the strength of a mother, her legacy is not measured only by the years she lived, but by the the loved she shared, the sacrifices she made and the people she inspired.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her surviving children, Aurelio, Eddie, Ely Bonifacio and Me, her grandchildren, relatives, friends, and former caregivers. She is now reunited in the eternal rest with her Parents Juliana and Felix , beloved husband Emilio, and her three predeceased sons, also my late brothers Henry, Elisio and Alexander.

Rest Peacefully Mamang, you gave us a lifetime of love, strength and memories. Thank you for everything you did for our family. Your hands may grown tired after a century of hardwork, but your love never did. You lived 101 beautiful years and you truly lived a life to the fullest. You will forever remain in our hearts and your love will continue to live on through all of us. we love you mamang. Bye for now, 🕊️🕊️
