Barry so sad, no one will ever fill the No1 spot at Lingfield as you did.

Reading your wise movements In the market allowed me to find a few.  One thing is for sure Lingfield will never be the same.

Oh dear this is a bad day……I have just discovered you  have left us and I am really sad about it.
Barry, us regular punters at Lingfield  are going to be losers, you will be missed greatly,  Lingfield is not as you and many of us would like, it was once great place to go to.     No real punters now,  just beer swillers, slopping about with little bets  waiting for the after race singalong.
Good by to you, you were an inspiration and the best bookie.  R.I.P.

I was so sorry to hear of Barry's passing. He and  I organized the Spring training for seniors' mixed slo-pitch at Cameron Community Center for the past several years and helped to officiate at the Moody Park Ladies Slo-pitch League  from May to July as well. He was a dear, personal friend and a wonderful supporter of the ladies' slo-pitch league for the past several years. We will miss his smiling face and his continued desire to help our league improve and progress. The entire Moody Park Ladies Slo-pitch League sends our condolences to his family.

Barry was a good friend for many years, even after many miles came between us.  I truly miss him.   My condolences to those whom he loved.  

So sad to hear this news.   I have such good memories of our times in Toronto in the early 70's. Parties, barbeques, etc.  I went back to England and we only met up twice after that when I visited Canada.    We kept in touch with letters and then emails at Christmas time.     
I shall miss that.
