In his teens, Biu migrated to Hong Kong with his oldest brother. In Hong Kong, he met his wife (Lai-Jane) who happened to be his neighbour.
In 1960, Biu and Jane married, and had 2 daughters (Maria), (Rovina) and 1 son (Michael). Biu worked in the Steel Industry while Jane stayed at home as a housewife.
In 1973, the whole family migrated to Vancouver, Canada. Biu and Jane worked harmoniously together in the Poultry Industry, and his main goal in life was to provide and care for his loving family.
Biu had many hobbies and happily, he enjoyed Ball Room Dancing with Jane the most. His favourite past time included swimming, fishing, raising canaries, caring for his fish, gardening, Chinese Kung Fu, row boating, Mah Jong and Tin Guo.
In his retirement, he enjoyed taking care of his granddaughter (Alyssa) and particularly walking Alyssa to and from school. Biu's other enjoyment was spending time with his other granddaughter (Chantelle) from Waterloo, Ontario, camping and traveling. His 2 granddaughters were his pride and joy.
Biu enjoyed greatly of his wife's Chinese gourmet cooking and Dim Sum with his family and friends.
He had a very cheery personality, and enjoyed life fully. He passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, February 26th, 2008 at the age of 75.
With deepest gratitude, his family would like to thank everyone for all their support, comfort and sympathies during this time.
