It is with deep sadness that we announce that Brad passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver, B.C. Brad is survived by his wife Janice (nee Starek) and was a proud father to Kendra and Amy, daughter Julia (Jon) and son Jeff, from a previous marriage. He was also a devoted Papa to Sadie and Wyatt. Brad is also survived by his mother Elaine, brother Glenn (Susan), sister Ellen (Brian); Janice's parents Hank and Sheila Starek, sister Pamela, brother Darren (Wendy), Jada and numerous nieces, nephews and family members in the Hamilton area. Brad was predeceased by his father William (Wink) and brother Gregory. A big thank you to his best friend Savey, a long-time and caring friend. Brad's love of life and special gift for humour will be missed by all. Heaven just got a little funnier with a new Master of Ceremonies. Funeral services will be held at Ocean View Funeral Home, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, B.C. at 3 p.m. Friday, June 21, 2013.
