Bruno “Il Conte” Agostino was small in stature but larger than life. Born in Mammola, Calabria, Italy to Nicodemo & Teresa Agostino, he quit school early to find work and move to Torino with his father. Later his mother and three brothers (Cosimo, Damiano, Salvatore) followed suit. It was there where he found one of his passions in Calcio. He helped raise his family and eventually moved to Canada to marry his wife Teresa, starting a family of his own. Sons Nicodemo & Vincenzo came along, which led to Bruno’s other passion ... Famiglia.
Bruno loved to take the boys to soccer games and spend time with them. Il Conte always instilled in us "guys when, and if you do something, do it right or wait until you can". Serving Vino or espresso to friends when they visited was always a favorite pastime. Always smiling and never complaining was a thing that made people love and respect him. He would always be there to offer advice and listen whatever the issue was. Becoming a Nonno was extremely satisfying and joyful for him. Bruno leaves Nicodemo (Maria), Vincenzo (Maria), their children Gabriella, Sabrina, Cristiano, Bruno, Tessa, brother Damiano and many nephews & nieces.
Thank you to Evergreen House for the care and love of Bruno. He touched all staff and his memories will last forever. PA we will miss you, but you will be with us. Sempre and I hope Mom & Zio Cosimo & Zio Salvatore are having a glass of Vino with you!
