Bruno Ettore Bortolussi - Humble, Generous and Family are words that describe our dad, at age 83, passed away peacefully at Holy Family Care Centre on August 5th, 2016. Bruno lived at his home in Vancouver until recently. Bruno died of a Brain Stroke.
Born on October 26th, 1932 in Arzene, Italy his parents Vincenzo and Francesca, as well as sister Linda and brother John lived there in the early years of live. Bruno immigrated to Canada and began a new life in Vancouver, where he met and married his wife of 58 years Elda. He is survived by his wife Elda, children Claudio & Sabra Bortolussi, Marla & Ken Sewchuk, grandchildren: Cassandra, Taylor, Nicholas & Kelsey.
The service will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, 555 Slocan Street, Vancouver, British Columbia on August 12th, 2016 at 10:00 AM. Reception will follow at the church. Viewing will take place at Ocean View Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday August 11th, 2016, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
