Calvin was a great colleague and although we were not personally close I always felt so much kindness and sincerity whenever occasionally when we chat.

Good bye my dear colleague, I am sure we will meet again someday.

Calvin was a great realtor colleague and wonderful man that I had the pleasure to work with at times.

It is hard to find the words to express the sorrow of losing such a fine young man. As one of Calvin's many teachers, I remember him well & agree with all the expressions of love sent so far: welcoming, charming, thoughtful... I was so flattered when Calvin reached out to re-connect 2 years ago. I will hold on those memories forever & am grateful for the opportunity to let him know how much he helped to shape me as a teacher. Your legacy is the memory you leave behind for so many who love you, Calvin.  That love will never go away. Rest in peace.

My Cousin Cal,

Growing up living under the same roof together meant feeding coins into the big wooden console TV like it was a vending machine and playing Duck Hunt along with what felt like an unlimited supply of Nintendo games.

My fondest childhood memory growing up was when Cal showed me his cars and brought me along on joy rides because of my passion for cars. He even took me to my first-ever Canucks game after hearing my love for the sport and that I've never been. 

It didn't take a genius to know I wanted to be exactly like Cal growing up.

As I entered adulthood, watching hundreds of hockey games together, being fed to the mosquitoes during our ball hockey phase, all the random 7-11 runs, spontaneous Vegas trips, and receiving endless amounts of support and guidance.

Cal was much more than just my cousin; he was my mentor, my best friend, and my brother.

TK, Auntie, Uncle, Jenny - I am so deeply sorry for your loss. My heart aches with you, and I hope you know how close I’m holding you all in my thoughts. 

Though I had only met Cal in person one time, I felt as if I had known him for a long time. He had an amazing wide smile, a warm spirit, a deep sense of humour and a lot of love for those around him.

I was heartbroken to hear the sad news, Calvin was a compassionate and genuinely awesome person, loved by so many, and it’s impossible to put into words the impact he had on everyone who knew him. His kindness and warmth were felt by everyone he met, and he had an incredible way of lifting others up and has helped many along the way.

Calvin, you will be deeply missed, and you will live on in the hearts of all of us who were lucky enough to call you a friend.

I’m sorry a family has to endure the loss of a son. But not any son. Calvin was such a wonderful person, kind, responsible, full of hobbies, funny, inspiring, smart, and ambitiously dominating in his field. I had the pleasure to get to know him and his many projects. It a sad day for earth to lose such a remarkable person. He has definitely left a mark to people around him and he will forever be remembered fondly.

You were a friend, a role model, an inspiration and the core of our hockey group.

From jumping up and down in your living room when we won the 2010 gold medal to watching our beloved Canucks getting thrashed, you would always find a way to crack a joke and to make every situation fun.

I've always envisioned me, you and MK watching the Canucks win the Stanley Cup, jumping up and down and hugging each other in your living room. We've shared so many memories, each one decorated with your witty jokes and your signature laugh. 

When we win the cup, we'll celebrate together again. I know that you'll be watching every game with us.

Calvin was very kind in helping me purchase my condos. When I joined Rennie, Calvin was very welcoming. He was genuine, thoughtful, and calming, without judgment. He was always ready to strike up a conversation and had great laughter.  Calvin was truly an awesome person.

One day we're going to win the cup and we'll celebrate together again.

Since the day we met I always felt a strong bond with Calvin, as if we had known each other in a past life. He would finish my sentences and it never surprised us when we read each other's minds. I still hear his laugh when we would give each other 'the look'.  

Calvin was more than just a colleague to me; he was a friend, a mentor, and undoubtedly one of my favourite people in the world. He had an extraordinary ability to instill confidence in me, believing in my potential even when I struggled to see it myself. His impact on my life was nothing short of monumental.

One of my fondest memories is the annual Rennie Vegas trip, mostly because we got to spend hours together laughing, eating, talking, and gambling until the sun came up. We never ran out of things to talk about and it didn’t matter if I was winning or losing, I was just happy to spend time together. I admired him deeply. Calvin was funny, he was charming, and I left every conversation feeling just a little more enlightened.

In the past week, I've had countless conversations with our friends and colleagues, and one truth shines through: Calvin was profoundly loved. He impacted so many of us in the most beautiful ways. He was such a bright light and a beautiful soul, bringing warmth and kindness wherever he went.

So many of Calvin's words have stuck with me over the years, guiding me in both my personal and professional life. Never underestimate the meaningful impact you have on those around you. The impressions we leave can last a lifetime. 

Thank you for being my friend, Calvin. I miss you with all my heart, and your memory will live there forever ❤️

CK, I miss you bro. We've known each other through many stages of our lives - HS, post HS, and then the privilege to link up and work together side by side for many years through our careers. You were always such a smart, supportive and kind human being. We had a special work bond as we had known each other through our early years and where we came from/started. It was always a blast and we knew we would have success with you on the team. Inside jokes and sales strategies was our forte. You will be dearly missed my friend.

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of Calvin. At various points in our lives, Calvin was a little brother, friend, and someone I can bounce ideas off as we entered adulthood. Calvin was so genorous with his time and knowledge and I am so sad to hear that he's gone. You could always depend on Calvin to be there for you when you need him, and was always someone to share a laugh with. Calvin will be missed by our family.

I'm sad to hear of Calvin's passing. I got to know Calvin on a work trip to Arizona and we shared a beautiful hike together. He was a very kind and caring person and we both really enjoyed the beauty of the desert. Sending condolences to Calvin's family, friends and loved ones.

Calvin was a wonderful person, always made others laugh and cheered them up when they were down. Calvin was one of the hardest workers in the family that helped us out with advice when needed. Definitely had a bunch of funny and crazy moments shared with Calvin that I will not forget. I am sad that he has left us, but we will certainly meet each other again.
