Carmela was born on January 24, 1935 in Casteltermini, Sicily. She passed away on May 1, 2026 at Belvedere Care Center in Coquitlam at the age of 91 years.
Carmela loved to cook and bake. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was especially proud of her grandchildren. She loved when they came to visit so she could prepare their favourite meals.
Carmela immigrated to Canada in the early 1960's and settled in Vancouver where she started her family with her husband, Luigi.
Carmela is survived by her three sons Rino (Antonella), Jimmy (Michelle), and Franco (Helen) as well as her grandchildren Carmela (Shahin), Sophia, Talia, Olivia, Santino.
