Carol was defined by her gentle spirit and quiet strength. She was honest, easygoing, and hardworking. A "simple and content" person at heart, she found her greatest joys in the steady presence of her family and the decades-long friendships she nurtured. Whether she was enjoying a meal with loved ones, traveling to new places, or simply catching up on her favorite TV dramas, Carol’s approachable nature made her a beloved listener and a loyal friend.
In August 2023, Carol began a courageous battle with lung cancer. She faced her diagnosis with optimism, bolstered by the unwavering support of her family. During this time, Carol found a new sense of peace through her faith. On June 14, 2025, she opened her heart to Jesus and was later baptized on October 12, 2025, becoming a child of God. This spiritual journey brought her a profound sense of hope and a joyful, broadened perspective on life.
Carol returned to the Lord on February 22, 2026. While she will be deeply missed, her family takes comfort in knowing she has been reunited with her parents and is enjoying eternal life in the presence of the Lord.
A funeral service will be held on March 8th at 4pm at Ocean View Funeral Home Chapel, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby.
