It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Chai Oy Cheung, a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was born in Ying Ping, China in 1919, and passed away peacefully in Vancouver, Canada on June 21, 2012 at the age of 103. Predeceased by her husband, Chong Poy Cheung. She is lovingly survived by her daughter-in-law Choi King Cheung; her daughter Kam Nui Chan (Wing Chan); her son David Chong (Mung Kei Chong); her grandchildren, Enid Chan, Jimmy Chan, Irene Chan, Peter Cheung, Johnny Chan, Steven Cheung, Mary Cheung, Livia Chong, Byron Chong; her great grandchildren, Derek Chan, Kelvin Cheung, Eric Lee, Nathan Chan, Preston Chan, Darren Lee, Mathew Ho, Shavna Chan, Nathaniel Valerio; and her sibling, Victor Anang Ng, 96 years old from Toronto; Yok Keung Ng, 100 years old from Ying Ping, China. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 1:30 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the section of West Summit.
