Loving Wife, Mother & Grandmother
With sadness, Christy passed away peacefully on October 21, 2012 at Vancouver General Hospital, after a courageous battle with Leukemia. Christy is survived by her husband, Stephen, daughters Eva, Wanda, Sheila (James), son Kendall (Joyce) and grandchildren Jordan and Kaylin as well as many relatives and friends. Christy's radiant, loving spirit shines on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She is now dwelling in the house of the Lord forever.
Visitation on Wednesday, October 24th, 2012 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, October 25th, 2012 at 1:00 pm in The Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, followed by a reception at a local restaurant. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Christy's name to the Leukemia Care Fund of the VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation.
