Chu Chung Ho

Chu Chung Lam was born in Xinhui, Guangdong Province, China. She was the beloved single child of the family and attended schooling, a rare experience at the time. In 1942, Chu Chung married Mr. King Fu Ho and raised four daughters and one son.

In 1949, Chu Chung and King Fu immigrated to Hong Kong where she joined the Catholic Church and was subsequently baptized. Chu Chung has been a devout follower of Catholic faith ever since. In 1986, Chu Chung and King Fu rejoined their children in Vancouver, Canada.

Chu Chung has always been an optimistic person. She was a hardworking homemaker who was dedicated to caring for her husband, children, and grandchildren. Although, Chu Chung’s life was not always an easy one, she never held regrets or complaints.

Besides taking care of her family, Chu Chung enjoyed travelling and meeting new friends.

Chu Chung Ho has basked in the warmth and blessings of God. She counts her four daughters, only son, ten grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren among her many blessings. Four generations together, Chu Chung Ho lived a happy and fulfilled life.

何林珠重女士生於一九二四年十一月六日, 於二零二一年二月三日蒙主歸召, 安祥離世於溫哥華中央醫院, 享年九十六歲.

珠重出生於中國廣東省新會縣, 為家中獨女, 深受父母疼愛. 珠重長大後與何勁夫先生成婚, 育一子四女. 一九四九年珠重隨夫移居香港, 及後接觸天主教信仰並洗禮, 至此終身為虔誠天主教徒. 一九八六年珠重與夫二度移民至加拿大溫哥華, 與兒女重聚天倫.

珠重一生樂觀, 在內勤於家務, 對丈夫子女及兒孫照顧無微不至, 辛勞一生, 無怨無尤; 在外即喜愛旅遊, 結交朋友.

珠重蒙主賜恩, 有一子四女, 孫子女十人, 曾孫子女七人, 四代同堂, 兒孫繞膝.
