I'd like to offer my condolences. It can't be easy what you're going through, but the Bible has many verses that can comfort you. And this doesn't surprise us: “For all the things that were written beforehand were written for our instruction,f so that through our enduranceg and through the comfort from the Scriptures we might have hope”. (Romans 15:4).
Look at the encouraging words the Bible gives us: “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted;
He saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Many are the hardships of the righteous one,y
But Jehovah rescues him from them all”. (Psalms 34:18,19).
God is with us especially when we are sad and encourages us through his Word.

Yo know When I moved from Montreal to Vancouver during my final year of high school, everything felt unfamiliar. I had to start over at Centennial, a place where most people had grown up together and already had their cliques. It would've been so easy to leave me as an outcast, but Danny changed that for me.

From the beginning, i saw he was open-minded,  kind, and he didn’t hesitate to include me, and make me feel like I belonged. Its nothing he had to do, but thats just who he was at his core. 

His kindness, his smile (The kid was always laughing) lil pretty boy 😏  and his character are something I’ll always remember.

Honestly my deepest and most sincere condolences to the family and loved ones.

I was, and still am, deeply saddened by your passing. It’s hard to put into words just how much your presence meant to those of us who had the privilege of working alongside you. Over the past couple of years, getting to know you  wasn’t just a professional experience, it was something more meaningful. You brought a rare combination of dedication, skill, and fun to everything you did. 
I also want to thank you from the bottom of my heart, for the kindness and guidance you gave to my son, Eli, as he began his journey in the electrical trade. He spoke highly of you, your advice meant a great deal to him, and he truly looked up to you. Having someone like you influence him at such an important stage in his life is something I will always be grateful for.  You didn’t just do your job, you made a lasting impact. Your absence will be felt more that you can imagine, and you will be sadly missed.

As legend has it, Daniel joined Adria’s Modello project in 2015, brought in by his father, Dennis, with a simple request to our journeymen at the time: make him into an electrician. It didn’t take long for Daniel to learn from the team, rise to the challenge, and prove himself as someone who would do whatever it took to meet a deadline and get the job done right.

Daniel was the kind of electrician and person you build and grow a team around, and we did just that. He became the conduit between the “old” generation of Adria electricians and the “new,” leading by example in the field with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. As a leader, Daniel made sure his team knew they were valued and that each person played a vital role in a project’s success, especially in moments when they doubted themselves. 

During his time at Adria, Daniel also became known for more than just his work. He was our in house expert on the viral “Floss” dance back in 2016 and, in his own way, our unofficial fashion consultant. Early on, he showed up in baggy work pants that somehow tapered into skinny jeans and eventually committing fully to the skinny jean look. Outside of work, he sometimes wore what looked like pajamas, though he insisted they were the latest trend. At Christmas parties, Daniel never paid much attention to the three drink limit, always persuading us that a few more shots were a good idea, we all knew that when Daniel was around, it might as well have been an open bar.

Standing outside Daniel’s family home, you can see the thousands of homes he helped build for future families. To the northeast lies Austin Heights; to the south, Fraser Mills; to the west, Slate and Ashleigh as well, each one a testament to his hard work and dedication. 

To the Bralic Family, thank you for introducing your much beloved son to our family, we will be forever thankful.

It’s rare to find a friend like Danny. He lit up any room he entered and added happiness to all of our lives. I wish I had more and better photos of our time together…Danny was a big part of project Slate in Burnaby with Adria Electric as our Electrical trade. Especially from foundation and as we came up out of ground and throughout.  His expertise and knowledge and sound work was valued and so important. But moreso he was such a good person and a real joy to be around each day. That is what we who worked with him at Slate will miss. I, we, were looking so forward to working with him again;  he made us laugh.   The world has lost a truly great human being and contributor to society.  It’s our profound loss. Jesse and I will miss him the most.  As a fellow Croatian, he and I bonded quickly and shared values and interests and had similar natures despite our age difference.  My heart goes out to Danny’s family and friends and colleagues. I will miss him so much.

A special thank you to Father Slaven at the Croatian Catholic Church, Immaculate Heart of Mary for his impactful sermon, and to Tvrtko Grubesic and the choir for their heartfelt singing, which brought comfort to our family and everyone in attendance. We would also like to thank Mirjana Zivkovic and the Croatian Cultural Centre for their excellent food service and hospitality. Our sincere gratitude also goes to Ocean View Funeral Home for their compassion, care, and professionalism during the funeral service and for helping provide Daniel with a peaceful final resting place. Finally, to all our relatives, friends and Daniel’s army of friends who came out in such overwhelming numbers to support us at the church service — your presence brought great comfort to our entire family. Your support was a beautiful reminder of how strong a community comes together during times of sorrow and need. Daniel’s final burial location is located at Ocean View Cemetery in the Grand Mausoleum, third floor southwest corner.
