It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Dario Dusman on August 22, 2023, in North Vancouver. He was predeceased by his parents Caterina, and Luigi and his niece Kathryn. Dario was born in Vancouver British Columbia on February 25th, 1955. He is survived by his loving wife Aren, sister Emily, brother-in-law Serdjo, and nephew Michael. Dario also leaves behind his mother-in-law Anne, brother-in-law Dave (Lorna), his extended family in both Croatia and Canada, and his many dear friends.
Dario was a commercial fisherman, for most of his adult life, spending many years salmon, herring, and black cod fishing BC’s west coast. He was well respected by all of his crew, and would never hesitate to help them when needed.
His joy in retirement was golfing and gardening at their home in Palm Desert.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 8th at 1:00 PM at
