

David Peterson was born on September 2, 1949, in Vancouver, British Columbia, to Peggy and Steve Peterson. He grew up in the Vancouver area and attended local schools, graduating from Churchill Secondary School.
David managed the family store until its closure and later worked for Fraser Mills in Coquitlam and Crown Packaging in Richmond. He retired from Crown Packaging in 2009 after many years of dedicated service.
On August 28, 1982, he married the love of his life, Elaine. Together they shared many happy years filled with family, friendship, and adventure.
David was known for his warm personality, quick wit, and ability to bring people together. He enjoyed connecting with others and was happiest when surrounded by family and friends. The B.C. Lions were a lifelong passion, beginning in his teenage years and Continuing throughout his life. He also enjoyed bowling, golf, curling, and travel. Over the years, he explored Hawaii, North America, Europe, and many other destinations, creating cherished memories along the way.
David will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. His kindness, humour, and generous spirit will be remembered always. May his memory be a blessing.
A memorial service will be held at Ocean View Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, September 4, at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in David's memory to the VGH Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
