Sorry to hear of Diana’s passing,  I taught with Doug  30+ years, we were more than just colleagues. Doug and Diana came to many special events with my wife Michele and I .  We had season tickets to the Arts Club theatre , Doug got us cheap seats so close to the front you could hear the actors breathing. 

One trip to Vegas was very memorable, I tricked Doug into going on stage to help, he was asked to lie about his life but he just couldn’t lie. They both attended our wedding on the beach in Maui,  so very special for us, Diana made a Lei out of Plumeria  she found in the park, she was truly a sweet lady. Diana,I hope you are in heaven with your Doug having a Pimm’s reading good book.

They were both such great sports.  

We had many laughs over the years, at the PNE, fireworks, football.

I remember when my wife, Kerstin and I met Mrs. Reichert and her husband. It was a dinner at Ryan and Andrea’s many years ago. I recall her calm nature… at least she seemed calm compared to Mr. Reichert. He  was definitely the outgoing type. :) Anyway, I remember how she shared  many stories of  their travels and of England. It’s hard to tell from just an evening, but from her stories, they seemed to enjoy traveling together.

This was the last time we went out to eat, with the exception of the mothers day disaster.

I took my mom out about once a month once she stopped getting in my car.  For a walk in the warmer months, to Jazz Vespers in the winter months.
