Domenichina Conte was born on February 24th, 1935 in Lettomanoppello Pescara, Italy to Angelo and Anna (nee Ferrante) Conte. Domenichina was the 5th of 6 children and grew up in a lively household with siblings, Assunta, Antonietta, Gaetano, Santa and Vincenzo.
After spending the first part of her life in Italy, Domenichina married Camillo Di Pietrantonio by proxy on August 23rd, 1967 and traveled to Canada in October, 1967 to join her husband in her new country. The couple welcomed daughter, Nicoletta 2 years later and settled in Vancouver, where she continued to reside until her passing.
Her happy smile and feisty demeanor was always a welcome sight to those who knew Domenichina and her memory will be celebrated and cherished by her family and friends.
Domenichina was predeceased by her siblings, her husband Camillo and grandson Erik. She is survived by her devoted, loving daughter, Nikki and cherished granddaughter, Alexia.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 2525 Napier St. Vancouver at 10 AM on November 5th, 2026, followed by her entombment at Ocean View Burial Park, Abby Mausoleum at 12 noon. There will be a reception to follow at Ocean View Funeral Home from 12:30 - 2:30 PM. Visitation will be on November 4th, 2026 from 7 – 9 PM at Ocean View Funeral Home Chapel
