Passed away peacefully at home on April 27, 2009 at the age of 92 years. She is predeceased by her husband Tom. She is lovingly remembered by her loving family; children: George, Mae, Denny (Wendy), Patrick (Vivian) and Lydia (Charles); 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; sister Annie and many nieces, nephews and friends. Doris was a tireless worker for the Women's Committee at the Chinese Cultural Center. Funeral service will be held Monday, May 4, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at the Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby, BC with interment to follow at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Foundation.
