Dorothy Can Lan Sung

Dorothy is survived by her children Pam (CK), Jo-Wynne (Gordon), Patricia (Bill), Rod and Craig. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Julius (Joe).

Together they put down roots establishing a good life for their children and devoting themselves to family, friends, hobbies and business. She is survived by 2 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and also survived by many nieces and nephews and extended family.

Dorothy was born and raised in Fraser Mills, B.C. Her children and grandchildren remember her as energetic and outgoing, gentle, kind, generous, a talented artist, loved watching tennis, hockey and football, enjoyed playing tennis and various other activities. Above all, Dorothy loved being with family and friends and had a smile for them that lit up the room. For many, Dorothy's kindness and warm smile will stay within their hearts forever.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Ocean View Funeral Home with a luncheon to follow at the Mei Le Restaurant at 2:00 p.m. (112-100 Schoolhouse Street, Coquitlam).
