It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, Nonna, and matriarch, Edda Infanti on June 18, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Edda was born in Grimaldi, Cosenza, Italy, and was predeceased by her loving husband Sergio; her cherished son Elio; daughter in law Lara; sister Irma; and her parents Pasquale and Annetta. Edda is survived by her loving sons Renzo, Dino (Sandy), Fabio (Jessica), cherished grandchildren, Daniella, Nico, Julian, Zachary, Lucas, Viviana, and Ellia. Also mourning her loss are her siblings, Joe, Carmelina, and Ivano, along with nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and many close friends.
Mom lived a life full of love and devotion with family at the core. A special thank you to the healthcare professionals, Burnaby Hospital Palliative Care, Crossroads Hospice, Vicki, Jenny, and Maria for your empathy and care.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Helen’s Church at 3860 Triumph Street Burnaby, B.C. on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 11:00am, followed by entombment at Forest Lawn Cemetery, South Mausoleum, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby, BC.
