譚永煌先生(Edward)於1970年8月11日在香港出生。 於今年2025年2月11日，在加拿大本拿比家中與世長辭，終年54歲.

Edward 在香港出生，讀書，成長。他是家中長子並有一妺。他對妺妺愛護有加，兄妹情深。 Edward 在香港就讀於著名喇沙中學。畢業後便留學於加拿大满地可Concordia 大學並取得經濟學學士學位。畢業後回到出生地--香港。工作大約半年便隨父母及妹妹，舉家移民到加拿大並定居於溫哥華。幾年後便遇上他一生中的摰愛， 精神伴侶--倪慧真女士(Daisy)，二人相知相惜相愛，並於加拿大溫哥華結為夫婦。Edward 夫婦二人婚後鶼鰈情深，生活得溫馨甜蜜和諧。

Edward於1993加入羅渣士無線通訊（Rogers Wireless)，就職於客戶服務部達二十五年多，業績彪炳，忠誠可靠，是位不可多得的資深從業員。Edward 為人奉公守法及自律，更樂於助人。如駕車，他是從不會衝越紅燈或危險駕駛。他更是？極支持環保如細緻地 將垃圾分類回收，做好公民責任。

Edward 在空閒時間，最喜歡就是觀看冰上曲棍球及足球比賽，亦绝對是Canucks的忠實球迷。他亦為Canuck Place 兒童臨終關懷中心的關爱義工成員。而網上電子遊戲更是他很熱衷的愛好之一。除此Edward對於中西歷史更有深入研究及探討。亦喜歡經常與朋友及Daisy作出理性討論，發表其獨到見解。

Edward 是一位真誠，可靠，義氣，有趣的良友。如每當朋友有需要幫忙，他定當義不容辭，竭盡所能為友好排難解紛。亦是因他的友善及樂於助人的性格，令他深受身邊眾多朋友的喜愛亦赢盡朋友所有友情。喜歡與摯友相聚，輕鬆地品嚐美酒，享受悠閒時光亦是Edward 生活的樂趣之一。

而烹飪亦是Edward 其中一大興趣。他的廚藝了得。徐了享受煮食過程，Edward 亦從中把愛妻照顧得無微不致。Edward 是頗為浪漫而又有節日感的好丈夫。他會親自下廚，烹調既

美味又是他太太喜爱的精至美食，與妻子共渡他們每個重要的日子，如相識紀念日，雙方的生日及各種各類節日等。然而給爱妻的精致禮物绝對是少不了。

Edward 是極為考順顧家的兒子。父母及家庭亦是Edward 生命中最重要的部分。Edward 每星期定會抽出最少兩天留宿在父母家中，陪伴和照顧日漸年邁的雙親，.盡心盡力履行考道。在 Edward 的心目中，沒有任何東西比家人來得重要。

Edward 甚稱是最好的兒子，丈夫及兄長。他的一生，一直也為家人作出無私的奉獻。

Edward 在他的朋友眼裏，是良朋益友。對他的離世是甚為宛惜。

Edward 的家人，非常感謝他多年來為家人所付出的一切。 Edward 對家人刻骨銘心的愛，照料，呵護，還有他的親情，夫妻情，永遠懷念！

Mr. Edward Wing Wong Tam Mr. Edward Wing Wong Tam was born in Hong Kong on August 11, 1970. He passed away at home in Burnaby, Canada on February 11th, 2025 at the age of 54.

Edward was born and raised in Hong Kong, attending La Salle College. He obtained his bachelor's degree at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada as a foreign student. Upon working in Hong Kong for half year after graduation, his entire family migrated to Canada, settled down in Vancouver.

Edward found the soul mate of his life-- Daisy Ni soon after in Vancouver and started their love lives together. They were then tied the knot on September 17th 2005 at a beautiful and romantic wedding in Vancouver. Through these years their love to each other were still strong and in harmony.

Since 1993, Edward had been a dedicated employee of Rogers Wireless, working as a customer service consultant for over 25 years. He was known for his loyalty and commitment to his job. He was also a highly disciplined and law-abiding person— for example: he never ran through the red lights while driving and always meticulously sorted the waste for recycling in accordance with government environmental guidelines, fulfilling his civic responsibilities.

Watching ice hockey and soccer games was one of Edward's favorites activities of all times. He was an avid and warm hearted Canucks hockey fans that he volunteered at Canuck Place Children's Hospice to support and help the children in need. Online video games was another big favorites of his.

Edward was also passionate about Chinese and Western history. Edward and friends loved having open discussions sharing their own points of view towards both Chinese and Western history.

Edward was a true friend to all the people he knew. He offered what he could to help the friends in need but he never asked for return. With his kindness, generous and loving charisma, Edward won the genuine friendship and love from all of his friends. Having a few drinks with his friends and enjoying the me time with a glass of wine at home was one of the favorite things he loved to do at his leisure time.

Edward was so talented in cooking and that turned out to be one of his favorite things to do on a daily basis as a chef at home ever since he married. He enjoyed the process of cooking and that's the charming part of him in the eyes of loving wife Daisy.

Edward was a very romantic, sweet and loving husband that he never allow himself missing any of the special days of their lives or any other special occasions that needed to share with together. Dating and Wedding anniversaries, birthdays, and all festive occasions and holidays, Edward would diligently prepare exquisite meals as a heartfelt gift for his beloved wife, celebrating and creating unforgettable memories together.

Edward always put his family first and he loved his parents dearly. He was indeed a devoted, loving and caring son. He enjoyed spending quality time with his parents by staying at the parent's place one or two nights a week, taking care of them for doctor visits, banking, running errands, dim sum and dinners, big or small, whenever they needed him he was there with them.

Edward is survived by his loving wife Daisy, mother Yuen, and sister Margaret. He was predeceased by his father, Michael. Edward was a man of integrity and reliability, and to him nothing was more important than his family. It is in no doubt that he was a remarkable an the best son, husband, brother and friend ever.

Throughout his life, Edward selflessly devoted himself to his family. His loved ones are deeply appreciated for everything he did for them. His loving family will forever cherish his spirit and immense love in their hearts. Edward will be deeply missed!
