July 21, 1948 – June 30, 2016
A beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully in Burnaby at the age of 68, with his family by his side.
He was predeceased by his parents, Dr. Eizens Leimanis and Zigrida (nee Gipslis). Survived by his wife Cathy (nee Nicloux), sons Ira (Joy), Lucas (Lisa), daughter Corinne, granddaughter Kirsten (Jason) her stepfather Ken Lau and siblings Ilze, Antra, Ieva, Ruth (Derek), Emanuels – Boots (Betty).
There are many who will remember Emil, nieces, nephews and special friends John, Roger, Darcy, Scott and Owen.
Emil’s celebration of life will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Ave Burnaby, BC V5G 3M1, Wednesday July 13, 2016 1PM.
