Ernesto was born in Spezzano Piccolo, Cosenza, Italy and passed away unexpectedly at his residence. Predeceased by his parents Stanislao Fiore and Virginia Turco and in-laws; Raffaele and Maria Iachetta. Survived by his loving family, wife Antonietta of 30 years, daughters Virginia, Anna-Maria and Armanda, sisters Rosetta (Enrico), Caterina (Rosalbino), brother Mario (Elida), many nieces, nephews and friends in Canada and Italy. Prayers will be offered at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 13 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 525 Slocan Street, Vancouver, B.C. where Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 14. Entombment Ocean View Burial Park, South Mausoleum, Burnaby, B.C. In lieu of flowers donations in Ernesto's memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
