Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend Evelyn (Evie) Donnelly passed away March 22 at age 98. She was predeceased by her husband James (Don), parents Pauline and Mathew, sister May and brothers Charlie and Jimmy. She leaves behind her sister Destiny, sons James and Grant, grandchildren Matthew, Stephanie, Andrew and Jeffrey, and many nieces and nephews. Evelyn was born in Prince George and grew up in Endako, BC. She moved to Vancouver where she and Don raised their family. She was guided by her faith and she spent many years with the women's auxiliary at Corpus Christie Parish. She loved to be surrounded by family and friends, and her generous and loving nature and willingness to always lend an ear and a helping hand attracted friends everywhere she went. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 3rd, 2014 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 2725 Lonsdale Ave., North Vancouver, BC. Interment will follow at 3:30 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 3789 Royal Oak Ave., Burnaby, BC.Arrangements under the direction of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Burnaby, BC.
