Fern Jane Armstrong of Burnaby, BC passed away peacefully on July 27th, 2011 at the age of 92. Predeceased by her husband Donald Brotherhood. Lovingly survived by her cousins Phyllis Carlyon of Seattle, WA and Roy Lamont of Saltspring, three nieces: Wendy, Claire and Joan, great nieces and nephews, and longtime friend and caregiver, Rhonda Cadorin. Fern was an employee of BC Tel from 1934 until her retirement in 1978. She enjoyed carpet bowling, card games and gardening. The family wishes to thank all of Fern’s neighbours for their kindness and support. A special thank you to Deb. At Fern’s request, there will be no formal service.
