Dear Mrs.DiCesare and Diana:  I have only recently found this on-line.  My name is Wendy and I met you Mrs. DiCesare the day of the accident, at MEC.  I was cycling with your husband and the group.  Your husband was so eager and excited for the ride.  This happened very quickly and I don't believe he suffered in any way.  He was very happy on this morning.  I was so sad to hear of his passing, and I am deeply sorry for your loss.   wendy

Dear Gaye, Diana & Rossana
I have just heard the news and am having a hard time digesting it.  Nando was such a wonderful person.  A geat husband, father and grandfather.  His family meant everything to him.  I truly wish that we had gotten together for that dinner we always spoke of but I am glad to have had the pleasure of his company last year when I visited for coffee.  I always thought that Nando would always be there.  I guess we should always keep in mind that you never know what the future holds.  I hope you know our thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time.

I cannot express how deeply saddened I was to hear this news. "Mr. D"  was someone I looked up to and respected as not only a coach but a wonderful and caring person.  The impression that he left on me will last a lifetime and I feel honoured to have know him.

Dear Gaye and family, my parents and I were saddened and shocked by Nando's sudden passing. Our hearts and prayers go out to you. Nando was a devoted father, husband and nonno and as long as I knew him he always had a warm and kind smile on his face. I was fortunate to have him as my soccer coach and I remember his dedication, energy and fun on the field, not to mention his fitness level was legendary. I was also lucky to see him again as an adult with my own children and I always looked forward to seeing you both at the Abruzzo Christmas party with your lovely grandchildren. Although you may not know me by name, our families lived close together and we saw each other at baseball and in the close community of residence.
