Filomeno Santorelli

It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Filomeno Santorelli on August 12, 2025, at the age of 88. Born June 22, 1937, he was predeceased by his parents, Celeste and Nicola, his siblings Michele, Gavino, Mario, Maria, Lucia, and Angelo.

Filomeno will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 60 years Gaetana, his sons Nick (Mary) and Danny (Stefania), and his cherished grandchildren Sierra, Gabriella, Dominic, and Mattias. He is survived by his brothers Antonio, Salvatore, and sister Anna.

Filomeno will be remembered for his devotion to family, his unsurpassed kindness, his relentless work ethic, and his enduring strength.

Thank you to the doctors and nurses at St Paul’s Hospital who provided care throughout the past month.

His greatest joy was his family, and his love will live on through them.

There will be a viewing Monday, August 25, 2025, located at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel 4276 Hastings St Burnaby at 6:00pm to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows Church located 555 Slocan St. in Vancouver on August 26, 2025 at 11:00 am.

Entombment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park in the south Mausoleum 4000 Imperial St Burnaby, BC
