Franca Mior

It is with such great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother Franca. Predeceased by the love of her life and soul mate Mario, Franca leaves behind her adoring children, Laura (Vince), Luisa (Paolo) and Ricky (Pritika) and her two especially beloved grandchildren and "pookie choos", Arianna and Massimo. Born in Teglio Veneto, Venezia. Franca also leaves behind her sister Maria (Gino) and brother Gianni (Renza) along with her nephews Alessandro, Giannino, Dario and Alessio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10.00am, on Wednesday, January 26th, 2011 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 5251 Joyce Street. Entombment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park, South Mausoleum, Burnaby B.C. The family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Baria, Nilo, Milvia and family for all your love and support and the staff at the BC Cancer Agency, in particular the 6th floor chemotherapy nurses, the 5th floor West nurses and Dr. Barbara Melosky for her care and kindness. In lieu of flowers, donations to the BC Cancer Agency would be appreciated.
