Frank passed away peacefully at the age of 87 years, surrounded by family on June 19, 2010, after a brave and valiant battle with cancer. Frank is survived by his loving wife Mary of 53 years, son Robert (Caroline), daughter Susan (Gordon), beloved granddaughters Alyssa, Brieanna, Jessica and Jennifer. Born in Molodia, Romania on March 10, 1923, he immigrated to Canada in 1952. He spent his working life in construction. Frank loved the outdoors especially camping and fishing. He enjoyed gardening and time spent with family, Special thanks to the staff at Burnaby General Hospital Palliative Care Ward and St. Michael's Hospice for making dad's final days as comfortable as possible. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Francis De Sales Parish, 6610 Balmoral Street, Burnaby, British Columbia. Funeral service to be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Frances De Sales Parish. In lieu of flowers, donations to the BC Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
