Giuseppa (Pina) Cannata passed away on February 23, 2025 at the age of 84 years. Giuseppa was born in 1940 in Spadafora, Sicily, Italy. She is predeceased by her husband Santi, brothers Antonino and Salvatore. Pina is survived by her loving family, sons Carmelo (Maria) and Marcello (Gisella), grandchildren Matteo, Vanessa, Talia, Roman, and Xenia. She is also survived by her sisters Rosaria and Francesca, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday March 12, 2025 from 6pm-8pm at Bell and Burnaby Funeral Chapel 4276 Hastings St. Burnaby. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday March 13, 2025 at 11:00am at St. Helen's Parish 3860 Triumph St. Burnaby. Entombment will follow at Ocean View Burial Park.
