BIANCHI, Giuseppe passed away peacefully in his home on October 25, 2008 with his family by his side. Giuseppe is survived by his loving family, wife, Maria; and six children, Luisa (Peavey), Raimondo, Lucia, Doreen (Jim), Dino (Margharita), Gilda (Shawn); 12 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. He also leaves his cousins the Bianchi family in Ontario, Mauro family in Trail, B.C.,the Anselmo family in Trail, and Vancouver, B.C. and the Saccomanno family in Grimaldi, and Kitchener, Ontario, also other relatives and friends. A special thank-you to the Doctors and Nurses in the Jim Pattison Pavillion, and the Nurses and support workers of the Palliative Care Unit of the Fraser Health Authority. Prayers will be offered Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. from Holy Cross Catholic Church 1450 Delta Avenue, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 30 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at the Creekside Mausoleum, Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the B.C. Cancer Foundation.
