It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Giuseppe on May 29, 2013 at the age of 72. Giuseppe was born in Semonzo del Grappa, Treviso, Italy on July 10, 1940. He is survived by his loving family: wife Luigia of 44 years; daughter Sonia; son Luigi (Colleen); grandchild Lucia; brother Andrea (Teresa); sister Maria and sister-in-law Olinda in Italy; cousin Alessandro, many nieces, nephews, and friends in Italy and Vancouver. Special thanks to doctors, nurses and staff at Mt. St. Joseph’s Hospital and Carlton Gardens Care Centre. Prayers will be offered at 8pm Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at St. Francis of Assisi 2025 Napier St. Vancouver, BC where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Wednesday, June 5, 2013. Entombment will follow at the South Mausoleum, Ocean View Burial Park, Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of BC would be greatly appreciated.
