Graziana Temolo

Our beloved mama, nonna and bisnonna was born in Valdagno, Italy. She was twenty when she married our dad Mario and then, in 1964, they came to Canada with their two young daughters. Despite the challenges of arriving not speaking the language and not having much money, she threw herself into her new life here. She was warm and kind and she loved to entertain family and friends in her home.

In later years, mom was diagnosed with dementia and she was lovingly looked after by her husband until his death after 63 years of marriage. Her family was so important to her. She leaves behind her daughters Doriana (Michael Hall) and Franca (Michael Jones) and her precious grandchildren Justine Hall (Alexandre Balay), Jacob Hall (Molly Caverly), Jacinta Jones, Adrian Jones (Lauren Howell), Kieran Jones and her great grandson Mario Balay, along with nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy.

Mom was predeceased by her siblings Rosanna Carlassara, Sante Carlassara, and most recently Gisella Scremin. Special thanks to the Hillside staff at Eagle Ridge Manor in Port Moody where she lived her final years.

Mass of Christian Burial for Graziana will be celebrated Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Parish, 1450 Delta Ave., Burnaby, British Columbia. Entombment service will occur Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Grand Mausoleum Ocean View Burial Park, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, British Columbia.
