Harriet was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on Feb 28, 1945. She was an only child and was predeceased by her loving parents Stephanie Marie Small (Grenzowski) and Harry Gregory Small. In her younger years she worked as an elementary school teacher and was honored to be the first named Associate of the Child Jesus Organization in Canada.
She will be sadly missed by her close cousins Joanne Chesley (Mel), Stan Gren (Angela), Cheryl Schatz (Ryan) and their children Brianna, Avril and Evan, and other cousins as well as special friends Colleen and Harris Thiessen, many other friends, and the Associates and Sisters of the Child Jesus.
Visitation will be held Wednesday July 27, 2022, from 7-9 pm at Ocean View Funeral Home at 4000 Imperial St. Burnaby, BC. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday July 28, 2022, at 10 am at St. Mary’s Parish, 5251 Joyce St., Vancouver, BC with entombment to follow.
