Harry was my boss at CN Ticket Office on Granville St. 1967. Harry was the nicest Man I ever met .

We would like to give our condolences to you and your family.  I worked at CN between 1960 until 1972. I first worked with Harry at the Downtown Ticket office and have many fine memories of work and of the many social functions attended over the years. We share your loss of a very respected man.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr Myskiw's passing.
 
Growing up with their son Mark, I have fond memories of the Myskiw home.
It is not until now that I am older, can I truly appreciate the phrase "The good old days".
If I close my eyes, I can see Mark and I playing hockey either on his bedroom carpet with the mini sticks or out back with the big sticks. Man, Mark had a wicked slap-shot!
We would go to the corner store for hockey cards to add to Mark's amazing collection and to pick up the latest Hockey News magazine that he couldn't wait to get a hold of.
I remember drawing our favorite goalies at the kitchen table or listening to Fred's records in the basement. Thank you Mark for introducing me to Led Zeppelin and Elton John.
Playing cowboys and Indians, I learned the hard way that it hurts when you jump off of their garage roof. 
High school brought new friends for Mark and I; but what remained constant was the back alley chats with Mr. And Mrs. Myskiw.
We talked about any news from our neighbourhood or our city while we checked on how their garden was growing. I would catch up on their latest Maui trip or to hear what's going on with Lorna and Fred. I would hear the latest dinner debate Mr. Myskiw just had with Mark on varying subjects like "communism vs. capitalism".
Mr. and Mrs. Myskiw always talked proudly of their kids.
I am glad that we were able to have one of those back alley chats 3 years ago when I came home to visit. It was my turn to talk proudly of my young family and to show them Madison (youngest of two daughters) who was sleeping in the back seat.
Mr. Myskiw was a kind man and a great neighbour.
The Myskiw home will forever be a part of my good old days.

I remember Mr. Myskiw as being the kind gentle man growing up in the South Vancouver area. He always found the time to talk to me on just about anything. He certainly represented the old neighborhood well and with great pride. He will always be remembered with fondness and of course his awesome garden. God Bless and Rest In Peace.

Sorry to learn of Harry's passing. He was a helpful, pleasant gentleman with CNR piggyback trailer logistics, Vancouver Transportation Curling Club, neighbourhood hockey at Sunset Rink, encouraged Fred at Dunbar Curling League in Richmond, and supported Colleen's piano playing and teaching. Such a fine example of being the patriarch. Condolences to the entire family at this difficult time.

We were very saddened to hear of Harry's passing.  We will all miss his interesting stories and infectious laughter that could light up a room.  We always looked forward to meeting with Harry and Colleen in Edmonton, Vancouver or Maui and will always remember the great times. Our sincere condolences to Colleen and Families.

Ed & I are very sorry to hear of Harry's passing.  I know it sounds trite, but he is in a better place now.  You are fortunate to have such a close family nearby and they will comfort you in this time of sorrow.  Our deepest sympathy to you all.

I'm sorry to hear of Harry's passing, I first started working with Harry in the late 60's in CN's Passenger Sales Ticket Office in Vancouver, we later worked in Marketing & Freight Sales. Harry was a good man, who tried to help people.

I worked with Harry for a number of years at CN.  He was a true gentleman.  We had many conversations about cars - my choices were of European manufacture while Harry seemed to prefer Detroit iron.  He did try hard to sway my thinking but I'm still driving European today. They were lively and interesting discussions.  He was always kind and graceful, just a nice person.  My sincere condolences to the family.
