Mrs. Helen Woroniuk

July 17, 1949 – December 28, 2022

It is with heavy heart we say goodbye to our loving Wife, Mother and Baba. Born in Vita, Manitoba July 17, 1949, Helen passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at the age of 73 years. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by devoted husband of 53 years, Harold, and their children Tricia [Michael] Berrettoni, Tammy [Tony] Peloso and five beautiful grandchildren Daniella, Crouxificio, Dante, Lisiena and Milano. Helen was also loved by many nieces and nephews. Helen was born to Michael & Marie Poshtar, she was predeceased by her four brothers Nick, George, John and Fred Poshtar and sister Rosie Rogoza who only called her Jonnie. Helen will be remembered as a strong, feisty courageous women who loved to sew, garden and making special Ukrainian dishes for the family.

Mom, we will always remember you as outgoing kind and loving person. We thank God for the wonderful life we had with you. You will be missed by all, and your loving memory will always be cherished by your family and friends. We would like to thank all the Nursing staff and Dr’s at Royal Columbian Hospital (6 South) also the Dr’s at the Vancouver Cancer Clinic as well as Dr. Mark Mckenzie. We are so grateful to our family and friends for all your prayers that have carried us through these last few weeks. A private service will be held for family only.
