Born September 26, 1926 in Vancouver, BC. Passed away peacefully with his wife and family by his bedside on November 10, 2010. ‘Howie Wowie’ is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Margaret, three daughters, Cindy, Linda, and Debbie, as well as five grandchildren, Aaron, Gordon, Sean, Rebecca and Jessica. Howie was a funny fellow, always telling jokes to lighten the lives of all he met. There was also the side of Howie who was always willing and trying to help others whenever or whatever problems they may have. Our lives will never be the same without him. He will be long remembered for his joy of life. A Celebration of Howie’s Life will be held in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby, BC on Saturday, November 20th, 2010 at 1:30 pm. A reception will follow in the Tea Room of the Funeral Home.
