PRIATEL, Ivan Peter (nee PRIJATELJ), born in Zamostec, Slovenia, passed away peacefully at home on April 28th, 2016 at the age of 84. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Angelina of 58 years, his two sons John (Erica) and Andrew (Rola) and his six grandchildren Alex, Natasha, Tobin, Joseph, Roan and Janek. He will also be fondly remembered by his brother Frank, sister Ann and extended family in Slovenia, Austria and Canada.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, May 11th followed by funeral at 9:30 AM on Thursday, May 12th at Forest Lawn (3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby). After service, a 12:00 PM reception will take place at the Slovenian Hall (5762 Sprott St, Burnaby BC V5G 1T7).
