Jean was born on May 2, 1930 in Hong Kong to Chan Kwan Yuen and Ko Siu Chun. She was preceded in death by her sister, Louise Tang.
Jean is lovingly survived by her husband, Pang Yeuk; three daughters, Martha, Dorothy and Cynthia; and granddaughter, Colette.
Throughout her career, Jean was a dedicated and passionate health care worker, tirelessly helped countless tuberculosis patients with their recovery and home care. She retired in 1985 and moved to Richmond, BC where she devoted her time to gardening and organizing gatherings with family and friends. She frequently opened her home for mahjong games and generously shared her home cooking and baking.
We will forever remember her warmth, kindness and incredible strength.
