Jeannette Marie Chan

April 27, 1931 – October 11, 2025

Jeannette Marie Chan (née Gee) passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025, at Mount St. Joseph Hospital in Vancouver, B.C. She was 94 years old.

Jeannette was born on April 27, 1931, in Montreal Quebec, where she began a life marked by unconditional love of family and all who knew her.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Ming Chan; her brothers, Henry Gee and Morey Gee; her daughters, Anita and Susan; and her son, Tony.

Jeannette is survived by her children: Bettina, Geoffrey, Christina, Nancy, Edward, Frances, and Michael, along with their spouses, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Jeannette will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her. She was cherished for her sweet and kind nature, her unwavering dedication to family, and her capacity to love everyone she encountered. Her gentle spirit leaves a lasting legacy of warmth and compassion.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to all of the family caregivers and the dedicated staff at Mount St. Joseph Hospital, who provided exceptional care for Jeannette over the past few years.

A private family service will be held at Ocean View Funeral Home to celebrate her life.
