Ms. Joyce Ellen Henderson

It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our mother Joyce Ellen Henderson. She was born November 4th, 1928 in Windsor, Ontario to William Boyzuk and Ellen Elizabeth Maud Harbour. She was the wife to Gerald Henderson (predeceased May 3rd, 1996). She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her daughters Sherry Borden (Bruce), Linda Bateman, Grandchildren Aiden and Andrea, Great Grandchildren Sophia and Olivia. She was a loving, kind, down to earth soul. She made everyone feel loved and accepted. She was known as “The Hugger”. Her warm welcoming smile and sense of humour made everyone feel special. “God Bless” was always her thank you. In Lieu of flowers we ask you to do a random act of kindness whenever you think of her.

Ms. Joyce Ellen Henderson, age 92, of White Rock, British Columbia passed away on Friday, August 6, 2021.

A same day visitation for Joyce will be held Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, 2250 - 150 St., Surrey, BC V4A9J3. Following the same day visitation will be a funeral mass from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Good Shepherd Church, 2250 - 150 St., Surrey, BC V4A9J3.
